Shelby Elder, PMHNP
Psychiatric Certified Nurse Practitioner
Hi, I’m Shelby, a board-certified Family Nurse Practitioner with a post-master’s certification in Psychiatry. I’ve been serving individuals and families through mental health care since earning my Master of Science in Nursing from South University in 2018. I began my career in a psychiatric crisis center, where I gained three years of valuable inpatient experience. For the past four years, I’ve worked in outpatient psychiatry, supporting clients through a variety of life challenges.
As a mother of three and the wife of a dedicated teacher, I understand the demands of family life and the importance of emotional well-being. My clinical focus includes helping those navigating anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other mental health conditions. I offer a collaborative, supportive approach to care—discussing treatment options like medication management, talk therapy, and holistic strategies to promote overall wellness.
As a Christian, I strive to be the hands and feet of Jesus in all I do. I believe in compassionate, grace-filled care that honors the dignity and worth of every person. Whether you are just beginning your journey or have been struggling for a while, I’m here to walk alongside you with empathy, clinical expertise, and hope.
Let’s work together to find the right path forward for your mental health and healing.
Jodi Lott, PMHNP
Psychiatric Certified Nurse Practitioner
I am a wife and mother. I started my career as an LPN, then became an RN. Later, after becoming a mother, I returned to school to obtain my Master of Science in Nursing to become a Family Nurse Practitioner.
After a couple of years of working in mental health, I decided to return to school to obtain my post-master’s degree and become a board-certified psychiatric nurse practitioner.
I love people and have empathy and compassion for all mental health disorders. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, and adults suffering with a broad range of mental health disorders. I am here to help patients achieve their optimal life without suffering with mental health. An optimal life is achievable when coupled with counseling and medication. I am here to help.
Katherine Freeman, LCSW
Licensed Counselor
I'm a happy-go-lucky (most of the time, lol) wife and mother to 3 boys! I love all types of music, but Forrest Frank is really my fave right now. I love to cook when I have time to really plan a meal, but my guilty pleasure is eating out!
I graduated from Auburn University with my bachelor's in psychology and went on to Valdosta State University to obtain my Master's in Social Work. I have worked in multiple settings including inpatient substance abuse treatment, college counseling, community counseling, and crisis response.
Although I love working with all populations, it is my heart to serve women and to help them become their most authentic self through their personal relationship with Jesus. With so many distractions in the world it is easy to be deceived and to lose focus. I am here to help you know who you are in Christ and to help you get back on track.
